Accent XL is a multifunctional radio frequency device which, unlike other radio frequency systems, provides effective treatment of wrinkles and cellulite with substantially better comfort, minimum risk of side effects, and low time consumption.

Radio frequency is high frequency electromagnetic wave. We can carry out miscellaneous types of treatment using various applicators. Unipolar or bipolar radio frequency brings about the change in the tissues temperature. Increased temperature based on selection of the type of the applicator results in recreation of collagen, smoothing of complexion, improvement of scars and stretch marks. If the applicator working more deeply is selected, the local metabolism increases (it influences fatty tissues and cellulite treatment). The method is painless and non-invasive, thus it doesn't require any operation or cutting.

The treatment is not suitable for clients with a cardiac stimulator.

1. Non-invasive fat reduction and cellulitide treatment

Accent XL tightens the skin and contours the body by means of a special dual-layer thermo-therapy process. The device works based on gradual heating of dermal and subdermal tissues to tighten and contour their surface and volume as well.

The body reacts to the combined doses of heat in the following ways:

- contraction and multiplication of collagen fibres, which improves flabby skin

- ligaments shorten, which improves body contours and the structure of the skin

- better circulation and retained liquids penetrate from the cellulite tissues which brings reduced swelling of tissues, improvement of red skin and reduction of total volume.

2. Non-invasive complexion lifting

Radio frequency is able to influence positively creation of collagen with the resulting better tension of complexion and reduction of wrinkles at rest. Accent rejuvenates firmness of the complexion and its texture in very quick, safe, and almost painless method.

After the treatment the areas may show slight temporary red places or mild temporary swelling. Some clients may very rarely feel some stiffening or stinging in the place with a metal implant (dental, orthopaedic etc.). The intensity of such feeling is not usually large, and there is no impact on health or the metal implant or surrounding tissues.

The total number of treatments is individual. It is usually 2 to 8 treatments; the interval is usually once in 3 or 4 weeks. The client shall see the developing result already after the first or the second treatment. However, the result achieved and its stability doesn't depend so much on the force of the treatment, but more on the biological age, genetic predispositions, and the lifestyle of the client.

3. Minimum invasion rejuvenace of complexion and treatment of scars (fraction radio frequency Pixel microplasma)

By running over or touching the complexion with the applicator (based on the size of the area) we achieve controlled thermal damage of the complexion in dots. After the treatment the area looks like after a gauze print and uses to be red and slightly swollen. If only a small area is treated, we do not use any local anaesthesia, because the treatment is very quick. If the entire face is treated we use the numbing cream Emla which moderates stinging and "sparks", which the patient feels in the place of the treatment.

Calming and peeling off the dot flakes lasts approximately 3-5 days. It is possible to cover the complexion with make-up in the morning one day after the treatment.

The target of the treatment with the Pixel applicator is to bring about reconstruction of collagen, lifting and smoothing of complexion, and reduction of pores. Based on the condition of the complexion and the intensity of the operation, the treatment may be carried out once or several times.

It is generally more effective treatment than the one using fractional laser, but it depends on the energy used. Since reconstruction of collagen lasts for weeks or even months, the intervals for repeating are longer - once in a month or even several months. The complexion is more sensitive to UV radiation after the treatment. Therefore, it is not suitable to get tanned or to use preparations with higher sun protection factor.
