Botulotoxin

Botulotoxin is proven and efficient substance that relaxes muscle spasms and blocks the transmission of neural impulses on the motor end plate of a muscle. In the past, botulotoxin was used in medicine for diseases of muscle hyperactivity, tremor and spasms. Today, it helps us smooth out deep wrinkles on the forehead and in the upper part of the face.

Botulotoxin efficiently weakens muscle tone, thus straightening the skin surface.

Why botulotoxin?

It removes mimetic wrinkles in the face, particularly between eyebrows, around eyes and on the forehead. It also fights excessive sweating, especially in armpits. It removes smoker's wrinkles as well.

How is it applied?

Botulotoxin is injected into the skin with a thin syringe. The procedure is almost pain-free.

What happens after the treatment?

The effect usually comes within one or two weeks and lasts three to six months after the first application. It gradually subsides, and it is suitable to repeat the application.

After an extended period of muscle inactivity, the client weans from particular mimetic habits (such as furrowing brow). In addition, when the treatment is repeated, the muscle function does not return in its original degree and gradually stops creating the undesirable wrinkle.

It is suitable to combine botulotoxin with injection fillers, laser skin smoothing and other procedures.
