Filling materials

Filling materials (fillers) are preparations designed for filling wrinkles and lines with an injection.

They are used for correction of scars on the face and elsewhere on the body and for lip enlargement, too.

The so-called hyaluronan (hyaluronic-acid-based gels) is the most popular filling material nowadays.

Permalip, a silicone implant, designed for permanent correction – lip filling – is an alternative to lip enlargement. The implant is manufactured with the similar principle like a breast implant, just the shape and target location are different. Applying this material is a minor operation, however, it is an outpatient operation using local anaesthetics and it is usually not especially demanding and painful for the client.

Generally, after any fillings have been applied, it is recommended not to sunbathe, go to sauna or solarium for ten days According to the manufacturers of the fillings, the material could be absorbed more quickly thanks to these activities. The practitioner will instruct you how the part treated massage and treat after the operation. It is recommended not to see the dentist or the cosmetician at least within 3 days.
