Skin rejuvenation

In aesthetic medicine, rejuvenation (restoration) covers a number of methods differently intensive based on the skin type and client's requirements. This includes chemical peel – especially gentle, repeated peels are popular (e.g. Renophase or Neostrata range products) when it is not visible the skin peels off, however, it gradually improves – gentle smoothened pores, slightly smoothened surface, skin "brightening" – after several sessions.

Light-based device techniques (IPL – intense pulsed light – the so-called wide spectrum light) and laser treatment are required a lot. Skin surface can be improved and pores smoothened within a series of approximately 4 treatments based on the device character and how intensive the treatment is. We provide a therapy using Aesthera (blue light) device at GHC Clinic in Prague; this treatment is very comfortable as the client (in contrast to the common IPL and laser treatment procedures) does not feel any bites at the individual impulses. Aesthra can be also used for mechanical pore cleaning (vacuum generated by the device sucks sebum out of the pore to the surface) without light pulses. V beam laser treatment is suitable especially for pigmentation marks and haemangioma.

Where signs of skin ageing or fatigue are more visible, the skin looks tired or limp, its elasticity is worse or its surface is coarse treatment with fractional radio frequency Pixel Microplasma (Accent device) or fractional CO2 laser treatment, state-of-the-art treatment procedure these days, have big advantage. It is an outpatient treatment procedure; surface anaesthetics - Emla cream – are used to treat larger areas. After the treatment, the skin is red and it is swollen slightly. However, it usually calms down within 3 days and gradually collagen and new upper part of the skin are renewed (approximately within a month or longer) and it comes to skin tightening. It is possible to repeat the treatment procedure; it depends on the character of the original problem and individual skin reaction. We provide this procedure to treat scars (acne scars and others).

If the client is interested in non-violent skin smoothening and tightening using pleasant application, we recommend treatment with Accent, a radio frequency device, in the bipolar mode. The client lies during the treatment procedure and after the oil gel is applied, we move the probe across the particular area (most often cheeks and jaw line including the double chin, often also décolletage, belly etc.) the client can feel heat generated in the tissue due to the radio frequency. The treatment procedure is usually repeated once in 3 -4 weeks, sometimes two sessions are sufficient, sometimes more sessions are recommended.

Rejuvenation can be done using methods based on mesotherapy (Mesolis, Conjonctyl, Revitacare most often). We inject a solution of vitamins or hyaluronan in the skin in order to improve skin nutrition and moisturising. This treatment (especially with hyaluronan) works like from inside, thus, it can be a good complementary treatment procedure to all methods mentioned above.

When the rejuvenation methods mentioned, eventually application of botulinum toxin and fillers are not sufficient and clients require greater effect, only methods provided by the plastic surgery can help, which we, of course, offer that is top quality at GHC Clinic in Prague.
