Dental implants
We are able to replace a tooth, the whole group of teeth or we can treat toothless jaw with dental implants.
How is it done?
Planting the implants is usually done using local anaesthetics.
After the implant is injected, it is necessary to meet several conditions. It is absolutely essential to have perfect oral hygiene routine and enough bone in the jaw. If there is not enough bone tissue to inject implants, it is necessary to surgically transplant it from another part of the mouth or modify otherwise. This process is called augmentation (jaw implanting).
In case of bigger defects in the bone or after multi-root teeth extraction we do the postponed implantation after augmentation of the extraction wound is done. After 6 months, we inject the implant.
In case of reconstruction surgeries we use bone graft to add the volume of the bone, fixed with mini screws. This method enables implantation after 4 months since augmentation.
Enough bone tissue is the basic precondition not only for stability of the implants but also for the perfect aesthetics. The dentist and the dental surgeon will propose suitable solution to you so the result is perfect and the solution is permanent.
