Forehead plastic surgery - temporal lift

The forehead surgery is one of the operations performed in clients whose skin loosens and wrinkles form due to aging. The biggest forehead droop can be seen in its lower part, in the eyebrow area.

Why forehead plastic surgery?

This operation is suitable if a correction by aesthetic medicine and dermatology using filling materials or a laser therapy are not possible.

How does the procedure work?

In most clients, the incision is performed beyond the hairline so that the scar is hidden in hair. All skin is gradually loosened up to the nose root. After mimetic muscles causing the formation of forehead wrinkles are disrupted, we stretch the loosened skin and remove its excess.

What happens after the operation?

• one- to two-day hospitalization is necessary
• return to normal physical activity is possible after two to three weeks
• it is absolutely necessary to avoid chemical hair colouring for six to eight weeks and face tanning for three to four months
