Comprehensive screening

Comprehensive screening (Big screening) is a unique examination designed for the diagnostics of a present disease as early as in the stage with no clinical symptoms. It allows us to detect a disease at the very beginning and significantly reduces the risk of developing various dangerous diseases.

Physical problems are understood in a close connection with the mental state, which often accompanies or causes physical symptoms.

Why comprehensive screening?

How does the comprehensive screening work?

All examinations take place within just one day, on a date arranged at the client's convenience. Before the comprehensive screening, we invite the client for a brief introductory interview, during which we familiarize them in detail with the screening procedure and necessary home preparation.

What does the comprehensive screening include?

Internal medicine examination

The doctor will have an interview with you to obtain detailed information on your health shape. Furthermore, he will conduct a thorough physical examination. In addition to current problems and circumstances associated with them, he focuses on a detailed analysis of previous medical conditions and situations that could influence them. Diagnostics of internal organ diseases is predominant; however, findings on all your health problems are summarized in the conclusion.

Cardiovascular system examination

Includes EKG and stress ergometry to assess possible cardiac muscle ischemia. Upon consultation with the examining doctor, the screening may be complemented (under more favourable conditions) with a cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) and 24-hour EKG monitoring to exclude any cardiac rhythm disorders and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring to assess its fluctuation during daytime and night time.

Circulatory system

The system is examined through a Doppler ultrasound test. We diagnose arterial perfusion disorders, vascular deficiency or clotting of the circulatory system (thrombosis).

Eye examination

We assess anterior and posterior of eye and analyze any pathological changes on eyeground.

Dermatological examination

We asses not only the condition of skin, but also the condition of hair and nails. We particularly focus on any dermatological problems and pathological changes of skin (prevention of a melanoma formation). We also offer a wide range of cosmetic procedures to improve your appearance.

Densitometry

We examine the density of bone tissue and assess a risk of fractures; in case of thinning of bone tissue, we recommend a treatment with minerals, vitamins or other drugs affecting bone structure condition.

Uroflowmetry

By monitoring the urine flow in men, we can detect protracted excretion, which is usually associated with prostate problems.

Gynaecological examination

A thorough preventive examination particularly focuses on cancer prevention; we also treat inflammation problems or urinary incontinence.

Ultrasound examination

Shows the structure of vital organs and allows us to diagnose inflammations, tumours, presence of stones, etc.

Chest X-ray

Provides information on the size of heart and large blood vessels and describes lung tissue. It is important for the diagnostics of inflammations and tumours in this vital area.

Dental examination

Combines an examination of teeth's condition with oncological examination of the mouth cavity; recommends suitable prevention and care, treatment with the latest methods and cosmetic corrections of teeth.

Ear-nose-throat

The examination is complemented by audiometric testing. An examination by a surgeon allows us to detect current or potential disease that would require a surgical intervention or cosmetic correction.

Laboratory examination

Includes biochemical and hematologic analysis of blood and urine, basic virological and immunological screening, some tumour marker tests, a faecal occult blood test and oxidative damage panel, which provides information on ageing processes in tissues.

Stress panel

A questionnaire examination allows us to identify the influence of stress factors and their contribution to any anxiety-depression disorders. It is a source material for doctor's subsequent recommendation regarding suitable lifestyle.

Physiotherapy examination

Analyzes problems of the muscular and motor system and recommends physiotherapeutic procedures, effective for the treatment and prevention of the problem.

Nutrition counselling

Examines dietary habits and the structure of nutrition. Suggests steps to remedy any digestive problems and problems with body weight. It is also very important for the stabilization of normal levels of enzymes, hormones, minerals and vitamins, which have a direct impact on the overall body condition and health.

Final report

On an agreed date after the screening, you will be presented with a final report. This is a comprehensive evaluation of the screening results. The presentation provides a precise assessment of the client's overall health shape and points out possible risks associated with their current health state and medical findings in their complexity. During the presentation, the doctor specifically points out risk factors and recommends ideal prevention to maintain or treatment to stabilize and improve the client's current health shape.
