What are Aptos lifting threads
Aptos thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure that helps to contour mostly the face and the neck, thus achieving a moderately rejuvenating effect without the need for a surgical procedure. In addition to the lifting effect, the threads have other effects, too: they improve skin tone, texture, colour and hydration.

Ideal candidates for a thread lift are clients with minimal signs of ageing requiring a minor lift. Typically, they include men and women aged 35 – 55.

If you consider the application of Aptos, it is always necessary to undergo an initial consultation with a physician, unless you are a regular client of the GHC Dermatology or Plastic Surgery Department. The physician will examine you, evaluate the indication for the filler application and the skin condition, hear your expectations, recommend the most suitable course of action and suggest treatment alternatives, if available.
How is the Aptos application performed
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia only and in an operating theatre. By means of a thin double-sided needle, very thin suspensory threads are inserted in the sagging skin through fine punctures which immediately recontour the face and the effect is visible for up to 1,5 year.
After the application of Aptos lifting threads, rest is recommended. The swelling and the traces at the insertion sites disappear within 1 or 2 weeks. It is recommend to wear an elastic bandage for about 14 days. During 2 – 3 weeks, it is recommended to avoid active facial expression, massage therapy, active exercising in a fitness club and going to saunas and public swimming pools. The physician may recommend you to take systemic antimicrobial drugs or topical preparations to speed up the healing process. When exposed to the sun, it is necessary to use a sunscreen with a protective factor (SpF 50+).Order
